And the Winner Is..................

And the Winner is........

Sunday night is the 80th Academy Awards Presentations. No matter how many movies are made and how many bright promising actors and actresses are given that coveted award, one movie will always stand out in my mind...."Gone with the Wind".....winner of 8 academy awards in 1939.

"Gone with the Wind" won oscars for best picture, best actress/Vivian Leigh, best supporting actress/Hattie McDaniel, best director/Victor Flemming, best adapted screenplay/Sidney Howard, best cinematography in color, best for interiro decoration, and best film editing.

"Gone with the Wind" is rated #6 of 100 American films of all times by the American Film Institute. "Frankly my dear", I would rate it #1.

Well, time to close for today and will see you tomorrow because "after all tomorrow is another day"

Answer to 2/20's trivia: What were the names of Sheri Lewis' puppets? Lambchop. Hush Puppy, and Charlie Horse
Today's trivia: Hattie McDaniel won the best supporting actress for her portrayal of Mammy in "Gone with the Wind", what 2 distinctions did her winning the oscar produce?
Thought for the Day: The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.
